Things go in circles here at the studio... sort of like a three-ring circus...lol. The first ring is the planning of a new project, the second ring is the actual creation and fine tuning of a project, and the last ring is the finishing and delivery of a piece.
Today I am in the third ring with several pieces I managed to finish and deliver as I head down island to Victoria. I have cats and seahorses and stars with me today but I am super excited about the cats!
Three black cats, a black and white cat, and a beautiful brown/grey tabby to deliver that were custom ordered as planter stakes. So much fun to make, and I love the smiles when they are received!
And so tomorrow, I will be back to one day in the first ring, followed by two days in the second ring...lol. And that is it for my planning skills... I have a 22" tree of life, a 23" Vancouver Island, and a whole hive of bees to cut, grind, weld, colour and seal... And this is just the metal for this week's orders... Still have glass pieces to make too - quails are coming!
